As part of our employee "How-to" video series, Marc in Engineering demonstrates the RESCUE! Pantry & Birdseed Moth Trap.
Often piggy-backing home with unsuspecting customers from the grocery store, pantry moths pose a health risk as well as a nuisance.
These tiny moths invade, eat through and lay eggs on stored food and birdseed. The larvae use the food as nourishment and leave their waste behind. (Yuck!)
Our Industrial Designer, Marc, explains how the product works and how to set it up in the pantry. He also gives insight into the design process -- starting with pencil & paper, then moving to computer, 3D printer, and finally, injection molded parts.
